About ...

About the Artist:

Marc is a Cheshire based fine art photographer who has just had his first major solo exhibition at the Millennium Gallery, Nantwich, entitled
“A Grand Day Out” which explored our relationship to the natural environment in the pursuit of leisure.

Marc’s work is now to be exhibited in many galleries across the UK. With some of this work still available to purchase as the original artist’s proofs or as first edition, limited prints. Making these fine art prints very desirable for collectors.

Artist’s Statement:

I have always seen myself very much as an artist who has chosen photography, rather than a photographer who has chosen to become an artist.
By using a camera to create an image, it allows me to see thing in a different way, for within photography time can be frozen or stretched to provide so many creative possibilities.

All the images seen here are from personal projects that have been totally free of commercial restraints, therefore allowing me to fully express my artistic vision.

Previous Exhibition: ‘A Grand Day Out’

This is the first solo exhibition of fine art monochrome and colour images from the personal photographic projects of Nantwich-based photographer Marc Byram. Although contemporary the photographs typically have an historic slant and charming timeless quality.

‘A Grand Day Out’ explores the relationship between our interactions with the natural environment in the pursuit of leisure. The focus is largely on the familiar, and is portrayed in a way that will encourage the viewer to reflect on their own experiences.

These images are available to purchase, as either the original artist’s proofs, or as limited edition signed prints. All have been crafted onto the highest quality fine art papers using pigment inks.
